My cognition has seem to improve a lot

I quit marijuana exactly 5 days ago. Yesterday I was reading the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy or universe or something, it was very easy to read. It might just be an easy read and a good read, but I was thinking about all the books I can read now because my cognition is better. Hopefully keeps up. Today I’m going to New York to see my uncle’s gravesite. Then we are going out to lunch. Sounds fun in the freezing cold going to the cemetery  oh well it’s worth it my uncle was the man.

Yeah man it’s not easy. I just keep reminding myself every time I get an urge that I’m doing so well without it. That seems to help a lot. They say in AA that you really “have to have enough” before you quit. I think I had enough.

Japanese people especially have the cult of the ancestors. During my trip to Japan in 2013 I saw graveyards everywhere, probably Buddhist tombs for the most part but I wouldn’t know the difference anyway. Some of them were hundreds of years old.

Concerning cognition, I can only be happy for your improvement! My thinking has improved too lately, although poverty of thought still rears its ugly head sometimes, but I am now able to study computer programming again and develop more sophisticated object models, something that had eluded me since getting sz in 2014.

I have heard many people praise the book you’re reading right now, maybe I’ll borrow it sometime  :books:
