Also,we make some songs win charts.

What is in our brain that brings pleasure from certain songs.

I have often thought this too. I’ve looked for books on ‘the psychology of music’ but they are few and far between.

Maybe I should be looking in anthropology textbooks?

I think its anhedonia. After my last psychosis/mania ended i descended into that. Just hasnt lifted yet i guess.

I have synethesia so music is a visual experience to me in addition to auditory. I also enjoy music for how it looks to me. Hard to explain to someone who doesn’t experience this.
