Despite the 2008 Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, health insurance companies still seem to get away with not providing the same level of coverage for mental health issues as for physical health issues. :frowning_face:

Mental health workers at Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest health insurance providers in California, are planning to go out on strike again. One of their concerns is the extensive wait times for mental health appointments for their patients due to understaffing.
