I feel so much better now and I think I will do one of two commission next week. I plan on spending much more time on it than I used to doing “vinyl invasion”. I want it to be perfect, so I am excited.

I’ve posted it before…it is the earth divided horizontally with a vinyl record placed on the full exposed cut side of the earth with a little pointy button poking through where you align the record on the record player…then the balanced arm with the needle goes up and inserts on the moon. with vinyl records flying out of it looking like flying saucers.

oh yay…thanks…the one I am getting ready to do is much more detailed of the earth . but this is perfect.

How did you come up with the idea for the painting? That’s pretty creative.

oh thank you…it started with the top half of the earth being "tipped back…like a lid instead of floating…and it took some thinking to get the moon to hold the balance arm, the records flying like a flying saucers is my favorite thing about the painting.
