Living in Oklahoma weather is depressing to me

It will soon be upper nineties for the beginning of the scorching days to come until the end of September. At least it’s not tornado season anymore, it could still happen, but the month of May and early June is typical tornado season. yayyy made it another year…anyways…sorry for the rant…I wish I lived in Seattle or San Diego.

We have central air, yes, fortunately.

we have one strong ac wall unit in my wife’s room, one smaller weaker ac unit in the living room…used to have a monster old ac unit there, but it broke…don’t miss the electric bill but sure miss how cool it made the house…loud too…good riddance…wish the land lord wouldn’t be such a jipper.

I hate where I live in northwest Minnesota. Minnesota has the worst winters in the contiguous US. My dad told me it can get -40 here. We have 6+ months of winter. That’s really depressing for me.

well you up north insulate your homes…we freeze here in this shamble of a house I live in. too many windows and not enough heating. just a little wall unit…that likes to go out in the middle of the night…don’t get me whining because I think I must like to because I’m always whining…ha

Yeah it’s gonna be hot. I prefer winter where I live. I don’t get how people work outside when it’s in the 100’s. We’ve had on and off thunder storms the past month or two so I’m glad that’s over.

Where i live, it’s considered really hot when it gets to 80. Most days it’s around the upper 70s but we don’t get the same heat stress as people in the Lower 48…but our winters can be brutal and long, with stretches of time at -35 or colder. Still…it’s easier to layer on clothes in winter cuz in summer you can only take so much off (before you get arrested).

Sounds like the same weather when I lived in St. Louis. It was 105 this weekend.

Where I live it’s like 50-100 degrees every day. We don’t get snow or extreme weather. I live in California. It’s okay.
