List your hobbies

I had one and found it to be quite useless. It was a fad when I was a kid. Interestingly, there was no ban on having one at school when I was young. It wasn’t uncommon for a teacher to ask if anyone had a pocketknife. All the male hands and a few female ones (ususally farm kids) would shoot up. It was a big deal for the teacher to use your knife.

I do have an original Leatherman I carry with me most of the time - it’s a useful tool. It’s over a decade old and still in great shape.

Since the beginning of 2023, I study philosophy, and I do 1 hour of computer science and 1 hour of economics during the day.

Dad’s girlfriend bought a hand-crank spinning loom and she can turn out hats in no time. It is pretty cool and I am not even into that sort of thing.

Gonna take a crack at painting miniatures too.

My advice: Get the larger ones. The smaller ones are a strain on your eyes and less enjoyable IMO.

Of course, I pretty much stopped painting, so what do I know?

I bought a table top magnifying glass with a light to read the vowels under the Hebrew letters so it will work nicely with the miniatures.

I got one of those head mounted magnifying glasses as well. I still preferred the bigger ones though. Just my preference.
