We haven’t taken down our small Christmas tree yet, me and my father decided that it will stay up all year long.
It’s a beautiful small artificial tree with blinking white and colored lights.
It sits in the corner of our living room on a small corner table.
Every time I look at the tree it cheers me up.
So there it sits, all year long
I do the same thing sometimes. Except that this year it is a real one and is literally already dead but still standing there. I really need to dispose it.

I think because it has a nice Christmas Ish feeling attached to it. Carefree and family.

That’s really a fire hazard. Those dry Christmas trees burn like a torch.

I kept my small artificial Christmas tree up through January. I miss it already! It was covered in beautiful handpainted wooden ornaments I purchased from Ukraine this year.
I’m still listening to Christmas music. It cheers me up.
