What are your guys take on Kanye West and his supposed mental illness?

I think people are quick to label someone as mentally ill when they see behaviors they do not understand.
I’m not sure if he has mental illness, but I do know the cameras should take a step back and give the dude some breathing room.

Basically he got more and more narcissistic and ego-centered over a period of time, started saying he was the greatest artist of all time and at one point even saying he was god or something.
Then last year he stopped a show in the middle and started ranting about how Jay-z is sending people to kill him or something, then he was hospitalised and discharged (without formal diagnosis as far as I know), he was hospitalised for about 2 weeks.
Then he went under the radar for a bit, and a few days ago he reactivated his twitter and started talking about love, fear, politics and freedom of thought.
Thats my take on it

He seems to be arrogant and seeking attention, publicity.
That’s what I thought too for a while, it seemed to closely mimic my own psychosis, but it seems many people don’t think this way, and it seems he’s quite highly functioning.

I think Kanye’s narcissistic and immature. I’m not sure about him as officially mentally ill, although a diagnosis wouldn’t surprise me.
