Just made peach cobbler

For the first time. I really hope it turns out good. My new oven is a convection oven and cooks differently from my old oven and I’m not used to it yet. Baking recipes are typically for conventional ovens, which are different.

I’m checking it at less time because my oven seems to cook fast. I’ve also learned sometimes it’s best to cook at 25 degrees Fahrenheit less than what the recipe calls for. This time, I did it at 350F but for a quarter of the time. If it doesn’t seem done yet, I’ll bake it longer.

Well, everyone loved the peach cobbler. I made it itch white sugar but am considering trying it with brown sugar. I think I might like it better that way.

@Wave , it was my first time both making it and eating it and I have to say it’s surprisingly good. I just think the molasses like flavor from brown sugar might be really good too so I want to try it.

Brown sugar always adds a little something. Try it with half white and half brown. That will strike a balance. The same way it does with chocolate chip cookies.
