I didn’t have a lot of people to shop for. My two sisters, my sisters boyfriend, the housing counselor who I’ve known for 7 years and my case worker. I’ve known my case worker for a relatively short time but she’s really nice and helpful. I bought everything on Amazon.
I bought my sisters each a Hickory Farms sausage and cheese box for $44 apiece. I bought my sister finance a platter of different varieties of nuts. I bought my counselor and my case worker a box of baklava for $14 apiece. I didn’t know what to get my sisters, I had no idea what they needed and I don’t know my sisters fiancé well enough to buy him a regular gift and I figure everybody likes food gifts. I know I do. So my Christmas shopping is finished; I’ll send out Christmas cards pretty soon.
I only shop for my wife and daughter and the cats. Got all their presents in about 15 minutes as well, but I am still waiting for one for my wife. I am getting concerned as I was supposed to have it last week and now the delivery date has been bumped back to the 18th.
Edit: The delay started when the shipment hit Ontario. Anything going through that sodding useless province automatically has a ten day delay added. I wish they would separate along with Quebec.
I bought my dad a variety of different animal jerkies, made my mom some sunflower brittle, and got my sister a $25 Starbucks gift card. Then i commissioned 2 wall hangings from a lady at church to make that has ravens on them…one each for mom and sister. Last gift was a bag of variety fudge for all to share. I don’t know if it’s petty but i didn’t get my niece anything cuz she never shows gratitude and calls me her “crazy aunt”. I MAY be crazy, but that’s just rude.
