I clicked ont he Career choices they offered for my type and two of them I used to want to do…computer science/software engineering: I have a Specialized Associates degree for Computer Applications and Programming. And the other one I’ve always wanted to be a librarian. Nice quiet work atmosphere surrounded by books all, spending my time organizing them…I even applied a few times at my local library for a job but never got lucky.
I took that test on the16personalities website twice. First time; I took it and it said ENFP-T The Campaigner. But, I also saw the INFP-T the mediator. The campaigner said that was creative; but, the mediator said that I was a poet. I thought that sounds more like me. I have been writing poetry since the second grade. I believe a couple years or so after I got sick. I read the mediator and I said that sounds more like me. I re-took the test and came as the mediator-INFP-T with a high very score in the intuitive category. So, they re-set my results and everything. I think that it is a pretty good test and profiles, but they were charging $32.99 for a premium profile! Thank you very much though. Have a great day or night whatever it is wherever you are. May you find magic in whatever you do or wherever you go!
Yes, it usually is an image or symbol. These tests are said to indicate personality types.
Jung taught that there are four psychic functions – Thinking, Feeling, Intuition, and Sensation. Some of the terms of the test categories derive from him.
I just the Myers Briggs type test on another website; similarminds.com. I apologize I don’t know how to link like some of the rest of you do. I took a class a few years ago and learned; but through the disease and medications, I have forgotten. Anyway, you can take test that gives you both your Jungian type and Ennegram type. I again tested as INFP. I also typed in the Ennegram as Individuality also known as the artist; I think. I took the longer test on the Ennegram that was available. It typed on the Individuality, too. There was some variation on the ranking of the other Ennegram types in my personality. Additionally, they determined that I was unhealthy with poor physical/fitness and psychological health. I preferred the first test that tested both Jungian type and Ennegram. It felt it was more accurate and the questions better. Of course, a lot of the same questions were on both. As far as the health stuff goes, I did start back walking for about twenty minutes today even though the Seroquel is making me feel like zombie international. As for the psychological part; they need to heed the advice in the Type 4-Individuality. YOU CAN BE UNIQUE! YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE NORMAL. Maybe, that applies to the physical part, too. Despite, all these advances in diversity; we still seem to be prejudiced towards “what we in great error to all the universe think is normal.”
