Blues for me. Most jazz is too busy for my mind but I do like stuff that John Zorn did by marrying jazz with some metal. So I voted blues by a long ways!

Jazz - to me - sounds like an epileptic is having an episode in the orchestra pit.

I don’t know much blues or jazz.
But I do know Amy Winehouse did some jazzy stuff n I not fan. And I know Johnny cash did some blues stuff… I think… And I liked.

I’m not a big fan of the blues or jazz but I’m going to vote for blues because lots of rock songs were influenced by the blues

I love them both. Blues guitar is far easier to play but if I could only listen to one, I’d have to pick jazz just because its so upbeat usually and I’m depressed enough without the blues.

I live about an hour from New Orleans so I have to go with Jazz. If you fly in to New Orleans there is always a jazz band in the terminal. Let me see if I can find a video. This isn’t the one I have seen. Mostly brass. This is the old terminal. New Orleans has a brand new terminal now.
