What is bubble tea like, @anon62973308? I’ve seen it, but I’ve always been too afraid to try it. Do you eat the bubbles? What do the bubbles do? What is their purpose? Are they squishy?

Yes the bubbles are squishy. You eat it. It is made of some kind of starch that is soaked in water and boiled. Milk tea is a drink with a blended milk and tea base and flavored like strawberry and coconut. You can also get milk tea with tapioca, jelly, pudding, or some kind of foam. It is $4 per cup so pretty pricey. I sit in the shop for at least an hour usually though just listening to music and charging my phone. It’s just a nice place to hang out and surf the net.

Hearing my kids laugh makes me smile. So does a lot of music. When my dogs play, when it snows or there’s an ice storm and I don’t have to drive, some movies and tv shows, getting a good new book, and especially hikes make me smile.

Haha not sure if you’re interested but I feel happy and ugly and no makeup and fat today and as I was walking outside on my excursion I meet a guy friend from high school and he completely ignores me!! Lol!! I went to the top private school in Hawaii so all my friends are looking good and well dressed and successful and I just couldn’t bring myself to tell him I’m walking around taking the bus everywhere to stave off a serious mental illness and no I’m not a doctor or a data analyst or a lawyer. Haha…

It’s not silly. I ordered four books, three of which I had read already from the library but I want to read again and again. And that made me happy.

A new game makes me happy. Or an old game that I haven’t played for a while. Right now it is the Longest Journey/ Dreamfall series. It is a good story, but beware the second game (Dreamfall), it leaves you in a bad spot at the end, so don’t get it unless you want to get the last one: Dreamfall: Chapters (well, I hope that the last one will finish in a better spot anyways…)
