It’s about this time I start loosing my rag

Everyday at this time. With the kids.

It’s like I’ve been dealing with them since 5am in the morning and by this point I’m tired. Stressed. Worn out. This is when the raising of voices usually starts.

Argh

Try to set some downtime by yourself if you can @Qwerty
Even if it means sitting in a room by yourself doing nothing for 15 minutes.

Hope you start feeling some relief soon

I go through this same thing. I go to bed early some nights and leave my husband to put our daughter to bed. It is the only way for me to have time to unwind after a stressful day of taking care of kids.

Try to set up time with your partner where he takes over for you at the end of a day or maybe your mom could help one evening a week so you have “me” time.

I feel for you qwerty. I’m the exact same way. I go into hiding and play a video game or diamond paint a bit.

It probably doesn’t get easier as they get older. But I really am looking forward to having some time back once they are both in school.

Querty, I think it will get easier for you when they are older. Having a 3 year old and a 1 year old is one of the most draining and demanding jobs on the planet. As they age they will be able to put themselves to bed and they won’t be as demanding of your time and attention.

Hang in there. It gets easier! I speak from experience - I raised 2 boys a long time ago.

Yes over time it will get easier. They will just be stressful in a different way. You are going through a rough stage with their tiny selves when everything is new to them, but it’s temporary. Hang in there!
