Channel still going? I don’t have cable so I don’t know. I read a comment about it not being about history anymore. Is this true? I miss the old history channel. I’m watching an old episode about witchcraft back in the old days.

The history channel has really branched out into other things. It’s true that there’s not enough history on it.

Dang… It was always so nice learning about the pilgrims, Vikings, Christopher Columbus, slavery, and about or celebrations. I remember one October they were showing episodes about Halloween and witches and it always made me scared to sleep alone…

These days there’s a lot of Hitler and Aliens on it. I wish they’d do stuff like talk about ancient Rome or Greece a little bit more, it’s nothing like the History courses I had in my first few years of college. I think I may have seen one piece on the French Revolution on the channel but that was ages ago.
I find the Smithsonian Channel to be a good channel if you were a fan of History Channel before it got weird.

There are a few shows I like on history channel. My son and I watch “Forged in Fire”.
