It depends how much porn. Some people think that porn and sex is solely an individuals business , as long as its within the law. And i have alot of time for that point of view. But i do think the nature of some porn maybe damaging , what can i say , ‘normal’ use i dont see as a problem. Dont ask me whats normal though.

PORN ISNT HARMFUL. imo
Porn is harmful because it degrades women. These women, many of whom have been sexually abused, are lead to believe that their only worth is their sexuality.

but they choose to do it its free will nobody is forcing them too.
Does that make it any less degrading? Does that make it any less harmful to society?
Nobody says, “I want to be a whore when I grow up”. Women choose this line of work for many reasons, most of them negative.

My thought is that porn isn’t harmful to watch or make-not that I would consider it-but some women’s self esteem is tied into their sexuality (and not always through a bad life) so if it’s between all participants consenting to it and it gets the job done, the only harm would be in the thinking it is wrong.
One world one rule? No. That is why there is so much variety in porn as there are in opinions about it.
Porn by and by is not harmful to society. Repression is far worse.

Yeah they should just close this topic its pointless. Porn can be harmful like all things. Whoever said moderation is key is right on track. I’ve looked at a lot of porn, but it gets more disgusting every passing year. If you really want to have good sex you’ll just let it play out naturally. Some girls like porn though.

I read a while back that a lot of young guys are finding it difficult to climax during sex because they are so jaded as a result of watching porn. If thats true then porn makes men impotent, effectively. At least when it concerns baby making. It is not about emotional intimacy, is it? So it is not helping if a loving relationship is one of your long term goals.

Watching porn is no more harmful to your mental/physical health than watching a blood and guts slasher movie. It’s all faked, and done by willing participants. (I know people may argue some women are forced into porn because they get lied to about it, or need it to make money or whatever. I can take care of myself without performing in porn movies…so yeah in “my opinion” it’s all voluntary. Just remember it’s on TV/internet and cannot control you. At least it hasn’t controlled me, I guess. That’s just my opinion.
