I get that sometimes with the odd hamlet cigar in the morning. Its cos you been asleep all night and your lungs are complaining - especially as its not a normal roll-up.
Cigar smoke can give you acid reflux as well and make you gag,

Vaping nicotine doesn’t do this for me.
I stopped smoking weed, cigars and hookah/shisha a year and a half ago, never going back. I am also drinking much less, only small amounts on occasions.
