They sent me and another fellow out apartment hunting and we found a crummy furnished place that fit our budget that we could share. SA provided the first two months rent and helped get groceries and such and also helped us find work. I was nearly done apprenticing as a chef at the time so they found me a restaurant to finish earning my ticket in.

There was no way I would have lived with that guy, he was an injection drug user and is probably dead,

My roomie John was a fellow alkie. He fell off the wagon in the first year and I heard that he passed.
I saw the dude a couple years later staying at the John Howard with a necrotic track mark up his arm that he hid from staff
