TW: talking about suicide.
This is sad. A lot of talk about suicide prevention is focused on young adults and teens which is important, but the suicide rates among the elderly are often pushed aside or not talked about as much. If I’m not mistaken the elderly make up one of the largest populations of suicide victims.
The only reason I bring this up, as it relates to the thread topic, is because I believe that loneliness and lack of a social life is a big contributor to this, as well as increased health problems.
