I can’t find anywhere in this article where it names exactly what the early intervention program consisted of. Was it medication only? Maybe medication and therapy? It just doesn’t say.
It makes me think of how I got treated with medication right away when I had my first psychotic episode and how when my grandmother was diagnosed back in 1949 they had no medication, only insulin shock treatments and it didn’t prevent her from ending her life.

Early intervention can help a lot of things, but the mind is tricky.
