I know she’s been battling cancer for quite a while and said she was in hospice. She hasnt posted in almost 2 weeks.
She’s one of our older members and I always enjoyed her posts. Shes a strong woman with a great sense of humor.
My mind automatically goes to the worst possible scenario. I’m thinking she might have passed away… I hope not.
If you can read this, I just want you to know how wonderful and lovely a person you have always been to us. Thank you for your keen insights…your sense of humor…your all-round pleasant nature.

I am crying because I’m pretty sure she must have passed if it’s been two weeks…I loved her so much…such a sweet person.
It’s been 9 days since she was seen, so it’s certainly possible, but I wouldn’t call it a sure thing. Could be she’s sick or something. I imagine covid could take a toll on someone with lung cancer, for example.
But you all certainly could be right.

I’m worried too. But she did say they changed how long she was expected to live to a year. Hopefully she’s alive still and she posts again.

It’s been about 14 or 15 days now since she was seen. It’s not looking good. I believe there is a good chance we may not hear from the person most of us know best as Chordy again. Even if she is still around, 14 days is alot for her to not at least look in, so I would think at best she is not in shape too look in on us.
So…you know. Perhaps we should give it a few more weeks and then make a thread for her or something. IDK.
According to her profile, it’s her birthday on July 6th. Someone should definitely make a birthday thread for her.. and if she doesn’t log in by then, i’d say it’s safe to say she has passed away.
She was born in 1944, had cancer and was in hospice. There’s a good chance she has already left this strange place.
Yes. Her birthday is probably a good time.
oh how very sad…she was such a nice person…I love elderly ppl. and she was special in her own way…I will miss her.

This just popped into my mind, so just bumping up for a reminder that we have about 3 weeks until her birthday.
I really hope she is ok. Loved her posts. So many times she made me just burst out laughing. If she has passed I will genuinely miss her being here.
