I'm noticing a lot more silver hairs now

I know we’ve all discussed this subject before,

But I was putting my hair up this morning and was like DAMN.

Soooo much greys.

It’s worth mentioning I just got glasses for the first time in about three years,

So that probably has a lot to do with it.

I’m also taking some very fancy hair growth vitamins.

All the hair growing back will probably be grey.

I didn’t think about that, I’ll still take it though.

Do your greys bother you?

Do you or have you colored them?

When did you start going very grey?

Basically please tell me your silver hairs story.

I’m 38, is it just my time?

It’s kind of terrible, but kind of cool because they’re coming in very Mrs. Munster style.

In a big streak in front.

I don’t know how to feel.

I think most men would be surprised what women actually look like without make-up and hair dye.

The world would be a different place indeed.

Of course we all would get used to it in its naturality.

The competition to fool mates into mating with them is not a battle unique to humans but has reached amazing heights in the human world.

Surely what you look like will depend on what your mate likes? what does he think about it?

Not trying to start a thing,

However,

I do feel like it’s easier for men to have grey hairs.

They look great!

My husband has a lot of greys in his beard, also hair, and I think it’s very attractive.

It’s different for women.

We just look more like swamp hags.

@labratmat,

I do want my husband to find me attractive, but his opinion on the matter of grey hair isn’t going to matter much.

I might continue coloring the bottom portion of my hair various colors, but don’t think I’ll cover the greys.

He doesn’t love them, but I keep my hair long for him and that’s the only ask he gets.

I’m completely grey. Hair and beard. I’ve decided not to dye it, but I’m 53.

I think there’s more pressure on women to dye their hair, but also it’s completely acceptable for them to do so.

A guy dying his hair kinda raises eyebrows.

I never really thought about that but I suppose it is true.

You don’t see many men coloring their greys.

And when you do, it’s noticeable.

Oh in my experience it is totally easier for guys to have grey hairs. There are lots of attractive women with grey hair though.

I don’t keep up with fashion but am sure I saw a thing where young women were dying their hair grey?

Yes, that was a thing.

Kids are idiots.

Isn’t everybody grey by 40 anyway?

I don’t know,

That’s what I’m asking you guys.

When did you go grey?

I have been shaving my head for decades, so it is hard to tell.

My stubble on the side of my head is white before I shave. My goatee has white in it, but not completely grey.

I guess it was age 40 or so.

It’s nice that you’ve got so little grey.

I saw your selfie and noticed that your hair is light,

I think that helps with the greys situation all around.

My hair is very, very dark brown.

The greys are extremely noticeable in contrast.

My hair is brown. Used to be blonde when I was younger so I don’t really think you can tell if it’s just a few.

My beard is definitely gray but I never have anything more than stubble. Can’t stand facial hair. Makes my face itch. When there is enough there I use the beard trimmer to remove it all.

I don’t like my grays.

I have grey in my hair to a certain degree, but it’s much more noticeable in lower portion of beard when I grow it out.

It bothered me a bit when they first started coming in eons ago, probably mostly because it was a sign I was getting older that I didn’t want to see, but doesn’t really bother me anymore. I’ve grown accustomed to it.

I’m 49. Both of my grandpas still had standard hair color in their hair in their 70’s, my mom still does, but my dad is completely grey, so I have no idea how mine is going to look in my 60’s or later. Lot’s of variety in this area in my family.

I’ve stopped dying my hair years ago and I love the greys.

I have gray hair in my beard, almost white…I have gray hair in my hair but it’s only above my ears…some in my hair on my scalp but my hair covers it well.

Honestly being bald bothers me more than my gray hair on the sides.

But yeah I guess it’s different for women

Although some women look great going grey
