I think the world is conspiring to make me happy

It’s making me paranoid and depressed but people are treating me nice and smiling at me and giving me compliments and being kind.

I’m not falling for any of it.

Being religious, I’d say you have high karma for your work and suffering now.

You’ve correctly stated a paradox. Kewl.

The folks in AA say, “I could mess up a free lunch.”

I love a good paradox.

This is off the subject, but my favorite aphorism is “Being right all the time nearly killed me.”

Yay, good one…………

That’s called pronoia. I have it too

The root definition of reverse paranoia is perhaps stated most poignantly in a novella by J. D. Salinger. In his Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters (1963), the character Seymour portrays himself in this manner: “I am a kind of paranoid in reverse. I suspect people of plotting to make me happy.”

I have had a great deal of pronoia too. So far it has worked out for me. I do believe this is due to god watching my back…

Although one night I didn’t go for a stroll because I thought I was gonna be stabbed if I did. So maybe I have paranoia too. Or reasonability. Whatever it is, I’ve survived some reckless scenes.
