I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. My heart started pounding, my mind started racing. It looked like a good sized rat. It wasn’t moving. Was it dead? I remembered hearing my Kitty Kins wrestling around in there as I was falling asleep last night and thought she must have killed it. But what if it was just injured?
I finally got brave enough to shake the laundry basket and it moved. I jumped back all the way to the bed. That’s when I realized it was her big fake trout. That thing had me scared half to death. And don’t think I don’t know my Kitty Kins did it on purpose. Silly kitty.
