I saw the Cardiologist

He told me I was as healthy as can be. No problems at all. Perfect. He told me sometimes that chest pain can be from the movement in the ribs or a muscle or anxiety but it’s not my heart he can guarantee it. I feel so much better. Now I can get back on the treadmill without worry. I even found out my cholesterol was down to 166 now, I guess avoiding meat is paying off.

The cardiologist told me that too. But the tests he sent me for said differently.

Mitral valve leak.

That’s awful, is there anything that can be done for it?

If it gets worse they can do surgery to repair it. My mother had that done. Hopefully I won’t need it.

Is it genetic? Your mom and you both have it?

We both had it but I don’t think it’s genetic. Mine is from a broken heart. Hers she was born with.

Wow, what are the odds? Well I’m sorry that happened, that Cardiologist really messed up.

I hope my Cardiologist didn’t mess up

I don’t know what kind of exam you had. Mine was brief. But I think it’s best to have the tests (scab etc) to make sure.

That’s great, @Leaf Cause for a celebration.
My chest pain seems to be indigestion. Sometimes this home is a little too lively for this old lady!
