Do you think I’ll be able to work I don’t know find out soon only less than 2 weeks until my meeting for jobcoach

Just try and you’ll find out.

I tried a couple of times and failed.

I think if I try again it will be self-employed.

You can also follow a course or volunteer to test the waters.

You’re putting a lot of pressure on yourself. I don’t know if it’s helpful. @anon25873142

There’s more to life than work.

But £380 per month is not enough to live on. I know work isn’t everthing but it means I can move out sooner with my partner.

Btw I haven’t quit my job. I’m on sick. I plan to go back.

@anon25873142 , do you think while staying at your current job, you could look for one that might be less stressful for you? It gives you something to hope for in your future. I don’t know what the job opportunities are like where you are

You should be out from your bipolar state. Some times you look for a job and after one week you think to left this and try to find another good job, . I think there is not any good or bad job. If you want, stick to one job and left it after at least two years of experience, and will go for a higher paid job.

I don’t think it’s cos of bipolar or even if I have bipolar.

I’m gonna have to find something else in a few months as I’ll be moving.

Good luck on the house hunting!

I hate it.

The chat with the realtor. Looking at one place after another and making up your mind. Signing a lease…

In that case you have to likely talk to banks and compare mortgages.

I know from my case banks aren’t that fond of disability income,

Will your partner be able to provide for the both of you?

Will you be able to go to the jobcentre and ask for a limited capability for work assessment due to health? You have to hand in a medical fit note for either three to four months and then you qualify for the assessment. After that, it is a questionnaire similar to PIP.

If youre not able to work, and you keep having to take time off. You may end up in a relapse eventually. Have you spoken to your GP about what’s up? I did that, and he said, take it slowly. And also accept. You may only ever be able to work part time, if at all.

Edit: sorry it has gotten to this point, i felt bad about it happening to me too. Cant imaginr how stressed you must be atm

Well, he earns around 75,000 and when I live with him I will disqualify for the esa or universal credit and have to rely entirely on him and his income… I like my independence to be honest. I currently only work part-time (though on sick)but will need to reduce my hours further.

edit I don’t know if this is true for esa sorry, just universal credit.

I see, well it’s all your understanding at the end of the day. What works best for you, ofc your partner too.

I hope you’re able to reduce your hours.

If you want to live off Universal Credit successfully, move far away from London

I am in the south east, and I was not able to survive

Seems like a I work and save money, then when that goes to ■■■■, I have to spend it to support my living arrangements and hope I become well enough before the funds run out

But now I have accommodations at work, I hope that cycle is broken
