I am many thousands poorer but one house richer today!

Will take some before and after pictures as we are working on the floors this sunday/monday.

Im headed over to pick up fiance to do some cleaning in a few minutes, so wont be able to respond to any comments for awhile.

In my country we wish the newly weds “house of stone!” - meaning “may your marriage be long and fulfilling!”. Somehow we associate getting married with getting a new, hopefully better, house.

Have you set up your utility accounts?

Have you met any of your neighbors? When I moved into my current house in 2015, my neighbor gave me a loaf of banana bread she made herself. Really nice lady.

I have briefly met some of the neighbors.

Gas electric is scheduled to be in my name tuesday. THey have to take a reading.

Tuesday Im also going to have to take a trip to city hall for water, sewer and garbage pick up.
