I’ve been sick for a week. I feel really, really bad. I went to the emergency room last Monday because I thought I might need antibiotics but the doc said he thought it was viral. I think I’ll go back tomorrow and see if I can get some now because I just keep getting sicker and sicker.

I went back to the emergency room a earlier today after I put a call through to my insurances nurse advice line and they advised me to do so. The doctor wanted to do a good check on me so he did exrays of my throat and chest and they were fine. He did blood tests and they weren’t anything too bad. So he decided to get me on a IV to get me hydrated and give me some pain meds and nausea meds and start me on antibiotics to get this infection under control.
He also called in a prescription for antibiotics for home and some pain meds. My mental health nurse went and picked them up and brought them to me after work. I’m hoping this will get me feeling better soon.
It’s messed up. I was sick for 10 days with what everyone thinks was covid then a week later I get this. This has been going on 9 days. I feel like I’ve been sick forever.
