I had it deposited to my PayPal account, and it was here around noon October 31st. I don’t normally get my until the morning of the 3rd of the month. PayPal promised I will get my check up to two days early, and I did.

Unfortunately No. I just paid my rent, WiFi, and credit card payment. Next I need to shop for groceries, probably tomorrow or Thursday. I owe the dentist some money I need to pay tomorrow. I promised him I would pay on the 1st when I got my check.

In the States do you get your check in the beginning of the forthcoming month or of the last month?

For SS - they give you options of stick with default 2nd or 4th Wednesday depending on your birthday.
Or opting for the 3rd of every month.

If you get it on Nov 3rd, is it the payment of November or October?

Oh yeah, the payment on the 3rd will be payment for October.
They pay the month following the month payment is due.
