I wonder if my medications are not working, do medications affect paranoia? Tonight I feel increasingly paranoid that there is someone or something that is going to try and harm me tonight. I want to call someone but I don’t know who to call. I hate this feeling, I’m increasingly restless and my anxiety is high.
No one is going to hurt you dear…I would tell my pdoc about what you are experiencing. hang in there kitty.
Medication can definitely affect paranoia. Have you had any changes recently?
@Hanna_Foxx I noticed that you sounded a bit paranoid last night, where you said that you didn’t trust your social worker.
Meds can make you feel more paranoid, Abilify and Vraylar did this to me.
Lately I’ve been feeling more paranoid myself because I’m continuing to rapid cycle.
I will call my psychiatrist soon if my moods don’t start stabilizing themselves.
I suggest that you contact your pdoc if your paranoia continues.
I wish you well.
Distracting yourself helps in the meantime.
I deal with a lot of paranoia and i know it sucks. If this becomes an ongoing thing it’s definitely time to talk to your pdoc about it. In the meantime i would try music or some other distraction method. That helps me sometimes to deal with it. Good luck.
I don’t see my doc till the 13th, I’m scared to tell her because I already am afraid I’m over medicated and I don’t want to be put on even more medication.
I understand your concern, but you should always be honest with your doctors
