He only needs rides for groceries, alcohol, and cigarettes each day…him and his elderly wife just drink all day I guess…it’s sad to me, and I mention meetings and drinking water and things like that and he just laughs it off…I am glad I am helping him not have to walk everywhere and he takes good care of me…he was there most of the time I was changing the tire this morning…it comforted me.

I had an alcoholic neighbor I was close to. She was older and passed away. Fun lady though. I felt bad getting her her vodka so I ended up telling her I wouldn’t get it for her. Not that you need to do that. But I helped her around the house a lot and she’d always have good food that I could cook us.
