i still get tense when even around my mother and my nephew. this will go away on haldol you think?
Meds do help…
I also had to get used to being around people again as well… small doses with the people exposure at first… if possible…
If your still feeling anxious around people… maybe look up some of the anxiety management books and talk to a doc or therapist about some coping skills…
That helped me a lot when I was starting to over come this.
Meds work very well… meds with therapy… that was a huge help.
It could. Haldol dulls a lot of feelings.
oh,in fact i have them dulled by the illness. i am quite special i think,the aps dont work on me like for the most of the people. i had hypersesnibility to lights on clopixol for instance, it sucks…
Just about all the AP’s have unpleasant side effects for most people. I can’t tolerate any of the typicals. I’m not sure I could face it if they told me I had to take a typical again. I might choose to live on the street and be psychotic.
yeah,its delicate… ive hadnt success with the atypicals. but i suffer a lot,dont know what to do anymore if its not the medication…
