Here is a decatastrophizing worksheet.based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

In the privacy of your home try this exercise with whatever your problem is, do it several times and try to answer the questions in different ways if necessary. I’ve found exercises like this helpful but sometimes you have to do them several times for it to sink in and help change your thought process…

Hopefully it’ll help you think about your problem a little clearer and make you feel a little better. Maybe it will help you decatastrophize. If it doesn’t help search the internet for other CBT decatastrophizing exercises.

I have the same problem

What has been suggested to me, is to write down the pros and cons in columns. Then use your logic, to decide which is more realistic. Is it probable that the worst could happen?
