I’ve been using the AI at ElevenLabs and have built a custom voice from samples of my own. I can regularly fool my wife and kid with generated clips using it, they’re that good.

There needs to be more regulation around phone scamming, even before AI is factored in.

There is, but the problem is that technology has made scammers impossible to nail by the local authorities. They can get you from any country over pretty much any network and obfuscate their connection trail.
