Not much. Need to read more but prefer physical books over digital books. Learning to adapt.
I am trying to keep it together this weekend, as usually I get myself all worked up, and it ruins my first few days back to work before I can get back into my routine again.
It helps that the gym is now open, as that’s an important thing to keep active over the weekends
anyways. Welcome! How’re you getting on @Hope ?
Hi nice to meet ya! I’m doing alright…I like watching movies and listening to audiobook these days… I get excited when I get off work lol right now at the moment, I appreciate my bed😶
Im a mess like always getting drunk nostalgic about the good old days
Welcome to the forum
That is nice of you to ask. I can say that for myself I am doing very well and very happy. I get up enthusiatically every day wanting to connect to others. I Love life.
Hey, welcome. Few voices today and cameras everywhere
Welcome to the forum!!! I’m ok, but I’m sick of being followed. Just wish it would stop
welcome to the forum =).
I’m doing all right. Still a bit sad about my cat getting put to sleep but i’m doing ok.
How are you?
Hi Andrew.
I’m excited to hopefully get a job within the next two months. I am searching for one. Can’t wait to be not glued to the forum all day lol!
Not that I hate this place but I just need a life.
What do you look forward to these days?
I’m doing okay. I saw some christmas lights at the park last night and that was the highlight of my weekend. Thanks for asking!
I’m doing okay. Woke up at 11 am and read the NY Times. Shoveled off the front steps. It snowed last night. Bored. Just reading the forum. No symptoms anymore. My ex texted me this morning just to say good morning. Going to decorate the christmas tree today. Have to put the lights up. There was an article about a former kamakaze pilot who survived WWII. He worked as a Tokyo police officer and never told anybody that he’d been that. I’ll probably get into a book at some point. I’m reading World Without End by Ken Follett and George Washington’s Secret Six by John Nagy.
Welcome to the forum! I’m doing ok this morning. Bored and hungry. Think I’ll go get something to eat.
Welcome to the forum!
I’m doing okay today. I’m feeling reflective on myself and feel like venting to someone. Other than that, I’m just listening to music from the Shrek 2 soundtrack because I feel nostalgic and wanted something happy to listen to.
I’m ok, had meeting with my separated husband and coped ok. Hung out at home with my sister and niece. Weather hot (summer here in Cape Town) but cooler weather expected in week, yay!
Reading The Centre cannot Hold by Elyn Saks - it’s awesome and I can relate so much to her experience.
Tomorrow plan to email local mental health organisation to enquire about group homes and general coping with being on my own, what can I do etc. And update my CV
I’m doing good.
I’ve started doing freelance translations in my spare time, and it feels good to put my brain to use.
If the agency keeps throwing jobs my way at a satisfactory rate, I might be able to quit my real job.
Thats sweet. Yeah I feel it, I am good with languages as well. I just wrote a fun piece about planting an apple orchard two years ago. Hope it goes well!
Welcome to the forum.
Wow, thats a nice post. I had a question for you. What in particular helps you with waking up early. I find having some kind of positive connection to look forward to, like going to work or meeting a friend for coffee or a hike. I love that world beating feeling of early mornings, but don’t always seem to have the motivation.
