Minnii used to do the positive quote of the day. It was great and I miss them. My mother bought me a little quote book all about hope, it’s called hope happens. So I thought I’d reignite the quote of the day thread here with this little book. Sorry there are no pictures to go along with the quotes.

Easier said than done when you have repetitive thought although I finally am breaking that pattern some. I did it by quitting porn because it broke my tendency to obsess about women I met in the past. That was a major focus of my thinking.
How did you break the pattern?
I stopped looking at porn and focused on other things (although an obsession with World conflicts was one of them which I would be better off breaking too). I also became less dependent on my Mom and focused more on learning how to survive with the cards I’m dealt. Preoccupation with sex that would be difficult or even impossible to have was a problem. And I’ll admit strangely enough I no longer questioned my sexual identity caused by childhood sexual assault although I consider myself to be a latent heterosexual rather than an active one.
