he’s, or she’s posted a little bit, go down and scroll. Not a whole lot of information though.

Right, sorry about that. I’m in the US, got diagnosed in my late teens, and the medicine I take is Haldol. Been working hard on recovering. I think I’m making some headway. Tough illness to fight. I guess it’s hard to fight an invisible illness.

Yes I do. Auditory hallucinations and paranoia are my biggest positive symptoms.

How old are you now?

Well past my teens. No offense meant at all, but I’m still in “guarded mode.” Perhaps sometime sooner or later I will reveal some more personal stuff. Let’s say I’m between 20 and 50. Not trying to be superfluous, just private. I hope you under stand.

Have you tried other meds?

No I have not. I was put on the Haldol many years ago and it has worked well for me.

One of the big things on this forum is the quest for the right meds. Haldol is really old. If you still have hallucinations and paranoia it might make sense to try something else like invega. Ask around

I appreciate the thought. However I am inclined to stick with what I know and what works for me. It doesn’t totally eliminate the hallucinations and paranoia, but it does reduce them significantly.

You can also try amyloban, it’s a supplement that works well for hallucinations
