I’m making chicken in a bag for supper but I don’t know what to do as a side dish. I have raw veggies and dip but I would like to add a carb to go along with it. I would welcome any ideas
What is chicken in a bag? My sons favorite is cheesy potatoes.
Peel and chop up potatoes. Boil them about 30 minutes strain and add a bag of shredded cheddar cheese with some butter and pepper and stir. They are pretty good.
That sounds good!
Chicken in a bag is a bag you put in the oven. It’s filled with spices. You poke a few holes in the bag and put it in the oven. It’s called so juicy. Very healthy way to bake chicken. And the spices taste very good
I was going to say macncheese for your carb but I agree with tomcat.
I usually eat rice with chicken, as well as some sort of sauce, like bearnaise
I’ve now rummaged through the pantry and see that I forgot to buy potatoes. I do have a box of scalloped potatoes and Mac and cheese. I also have lots of rice and fixings for sweet and sour sauce. I could bake biscuits.
Cornbread sounds good. What about that and I’ll come over. I’m sure you have too much chicken. Don’t want it to go bad.
Scalloped potatoes sound good too.
I’d welcome you in
I do rice a LOT. We found a rice cooker at the thrift store and I give it a workout.
You say it was snowing. Is it cold there now. It’s raining and a little chilly here.
Do y’all think we should have a food thread?
It would all me posting polls and doing pics of my food lol
