HELP, can I get committed against my will?

I had a pdoc appointment today, and he said I was on too low of a dose of clozapine, that it needs to be increased. I reported no symptoms at all, and he left to talk to my therapist about committing me, leaving my case manager with me. I have big plans this weekend and I cant afford another hospital stay. This was about 2 hours ago, I’m afraid the cops are going to show up at my house since I ran away from the pdocs office because they were talking about hospitalization. @GrayBear I asked him about atropine sulfate and he wouldn’t give it to me.

Today has been a day from hell, my whole treatment team is against me, all they want to do is see me being hospitalized. Said 200mg clozapine is too low, and I need to be monitored when they increase the dose. They just want to see people drugged up, its bullsh*t

That is too bad you had a not so good appointment. Hope you don’t need to go in. Are they going to increase your Clozapine without the hospital? :chipmunk::chipmunk::chipmunk:

I don’t think so, I ran away before they got back to me.

If they were going to involuntarily commit me, they would need a court order right? they would have came for me by now, right?

I am not sure. I think you would have to be a danger to yourself or others.:thinking::thinking:

I showed up to an appointment with a clinician and there was an ambulance waiting for me. I go to the mental facility and I guess the governor signed something that forced me to take injections of Risperdal.

There is a chance it will happen to you if you quit your meds. If you follow the docs order with meds it will probably never happen to you.

I’m not quitting my meds, they just said when its increased I need to have a hospital stay, I was released too soon. This is coming from a pdoc who knew me within 10mins

I love Clozapine. I’m not sure why you don’t want to take more of it.

I think they got that impression, and that I’m going to get worse even though I reported no symptoms

Man that’s ■■■■■■ up especially if youre symptom free thats a huge abuse of power.

I hope they don’t commit you

Because your freedom is taken away in the hospital, and its boring I would take more of it if they didn’t want to hospitalize me. They said I cant get an increase unless I am

My husband has power of attorney over me. So he can admit me against my will. If I get bad enough.

Thanks, the pdoc is wrong, he didn’t even read over my file. He got the wrong impression, he only heard what the case manager who claims to know me.

the worst case scenario is going to prison, the best in going into psych ward, either way, they don’t mess around.

didn’t mean to, just saw a documentary of a young man not taking meds, and the care facility hauled him away.

I just don’t understand why I need to be hospitalized if they want to increase it? never in my life did I have to do that

he recovered, I believe got back on meds, and got married.

Do you have family? I mean care taker
I’mnot sure if this applie to your country as well
but mine, as long as you are not danger toward yourself or others
and family can get your symptom in control
they would have no right to hospitalized you

WAIT? PRISON?! NOo way
Winterblues didn’t commit a crime
why would they trying to put him/her in jail??

no they won’t put you in jail I’m pretty sure(which country would do that omg)
but I don’t know about hospital since, I only know about my country’s law
you making him/her more worry

I’ve separately wondered who goes to psych ward, or prison, or rehab. The shocking show I saw means they came after him and because he ran and was on the streets, he was a danger. They locked him up.
