Oooops.
Yeah, this is all over CNN. That must have been scarey in the moments between when the initial warning was sent out and the subsequent retraction letting folks know the warning was sent in error.
@anon62973308. Aren’t you in Hawaii?
And whats the verdict did it reach hawaii?
It never happened. It was a false alarm.
If I got that message I legit woulda taken a whole bottle of klonopin and just played with my dog outside, maybe do some weird ■■■■just bc it’d be the end. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 god I don’t live in Hawaii tho bc it was a false alarm and I woulda wound up over sedated haha
That would have killed you.
Hey, thanks for asking. I found out in the middle is substitute teaching class and everyone was running out, calling their families, etc. I just felt stupid because I can’t feel fear and just thought “I’ve lived long enough.”
I wonder if it was done for research concerning public reaction ?
How are you feeling now?
Nothing just “oh, of course it was a false alarm.” Back to life as usual!
I would have been so terrified. I’m glad you were able to keep your wits.
Hawaii accidentally warns citizens of incoming missile.
What kind of a sh_thole country would do that to its citizens ?
I’ve heard of the emergency broadcast system go off as a real warning once and not just a test but that was also a mistake. The person who “presses the button” pressed the wrong button. I would have thought that ■■■■would be automated but nope.
Yeah, I’m not so paranoid these days but this theory resonates with me very much.
And most of us know where the sh:thole is, between you know who’s chin and nose.
I’m glad I wasn’t there. I would have been hysterical. So many people were so needlessly distressed.
