The partial dopamine agonists like Abilify and Vraylar have made my anxiety worse.
Vraylar didn’t work for me and landed me in the Hospital.
Currently, my abilify is contributing to massive hair loss and panic attacks,
I can say with certainty I was better off without any medication.
Yes, its calmed a lot of voices, but the anxiety from losing my hair is horrible.
I’ve had other medications make me gain a ton of weight,
Others made my psychosis stronger landing me back in the hospital.
Some just did nothing.
I guess we have to choose the worse of two evils,
Being crazy or being on meds.
I would choose being crazy if I could,
At least I’d look great.
Latuda made me worse… super delusional !!!
I wasn’t able to stand up when I was on quetiapine (very low dosage…).
With antipsychotics, yes, most of the time, which is why I always quit them.
I’ve really just not had a fantastic experience with the grand majority of psych meds.
I’m making attempt number 2 at quitting Ativan now. The insomnia is quite difficult (that’s putting it lightly), but at least I haven’t been getting paranoia this time around. Definitely anxiety but not paranoia. Anyways I was on Ativan 1 mg nightly a year before and when I dropped it cold turkey I had 2 solid weeks of insomnia, I was on benzos just 2 months this time, and I was tapering this time so I am hoping maybe it will not take as long to readjust.
I have heard of people who it took months to go back to normal. Some people even went years without it being normal again. Awful.
It’s 8 am now and I haven’t slept a wink. Was up until 5 am yesterday.
There is a forum on the internet called benzobuddies which is for people who use benzos.
What meds do you plan on being on in the future for sleep?
hey Wallafish sorry to bother you
could you please tell me if you now feel 100% like you did pre-invega??
its made me a social outcast in constant worry and fear… please tell me if this happened to you and if you bounced back completely
Hey man,

Yea, saphris made me suicidal. I spent literally every waking minute researching agricultural chemicals to swallow.
That’s terrible @anon84763962.
You rock though u a great person
You rock too wallafish! You’re the best!
The worst pills I’ve had to swallow is “acceptance “ and “reality”.
The “best” are my two dogs.
I was totally demoralized the whole time I was on Haldol. It took away every reason I had to live.
