It took a good year of meds to get rid of most of my symptoms.
did you have symptom that people know your thoughts? does it need 2 or 3 years to disappear? I take medications already a year.
You can’t wait on the meds to do everything for you because they won’t, you have to put some work in yourself. It is good that you know on a cognitive level that thought broadcasting is a delusion, that means you can overcome it. When you are stressed about possible thought broadcasting find a way to distract yourself.
I’m not “cured” of it. Its just buried under a sitload of AP meds.
I am on meds for 3 years now and symptoms always came back when I go off or lower the medicine dosage like most people
what meds do you take?
do you have symptom that people read your mind and you can read their mind too? my doctor says that it needs 2 or 3 year to isappear but I think meds dont
work
You are on clozapine, the most potent med there is so if they put you on that, you might have treatment resistant schizo , you would have to keep taking it Incase a relapse makes your negative symptoms worse permanently
I get thought broadcasting at times but I mostly get thought insertions (or telepathy) rather. With me, the two come together, mixed up and confused.
I deal with TB by making jokes, sharing weather reports and other storytelling so that if anyone is listening to me they’ll either laugh, get informed, or wonder why I’m not a best selling author.
Make the most of it in a positive way!
