I’ve been using the same clipper for more than ten years and the comb is a bit broken and sometimes it gets stuck, I should probably buy a new one. in case it breaks while I’m using it, I thought I’ll put on a wool hat even if it’s almost summer so as not to show my badly cut hair, and I’m going to buy another one right away
Same here, I put on the #2 and shave away.
oh i just flipping trough old facebook posts and saw i looked great with buzzed hair and did it for my summer haircut. looks great feels great!
I do it bald at home with a head shaver
I trim and shave because I’m going bald. I’ve saved a lot of money.
Which one do you use? I use head blade! I think it’s super easy to shave with that.
I get my hair cut at a salon, and it’s a nerve-wracking experience every time.
The lady I see is really nice and good at what she does, but it’s so hard for me to engage in conversation that most of the appointment is just spent in silence— only little snippets of convo here and there.
Surprisingly, she’s never asked me about my job (or lack thereof), so that awkwardness hasn’t come up yet.
I usually get my hair cut 2-3 times a year.
@Schztuna my experience was so bad I did not know this person. And was asked so many personal questions. And I felt so bad about making up answers because I didn’t want to expose myself.
Glad your person keeps the conversation light.
Ooof, that sounds rough @Kxev— it’s a challenge trying to dodge those questions.
That is like my biggest fear… Well, one of them anyways .
How do you cut your hair now?
Sometimes I wear my hair longer but since this cut - I keep it trimmed with scissors and a clipper. My spouse is not pushing me to go back after that.
I really either have to maintain it short or let it grow horribly for a while til its long enough to look right longer.
These days I just let my dad cut my hair short every once in awhile.
Yea, I totally don’t blame you for not wanting to go back there!
That’s cool that you can maintain it though— I wish I could do the same, but I have no idea how to cut my own hair (well, like, nicely haha),
Just keep your eyes closed lol then they cant find as much of a way to talk.
#salonprotips
Hahaha this true
I avoid haircuts. Mostly. I go twice a year or so. I do not like salons. And strangers touching my head. I also do not like strangers (or most people really) to come into my home. And can’t do it myself. I’m a lot more social than I used to be…but couldnt fully get rid of my hermit traits.
