I cut my own hair. I have psoriasis on my scalp so I cant go to a barber.

Im new to psoriasis of tbe scalp. I didnt realize it meant we Cant go to a salon. That really sucks.

ive been to the barber twice in 10 years. i cut my own now i usually grow for a few months then either cut it super short or just line up to look fresh when im growing it out

You can but you need to search for an understanding person. I got tired of being lectured on “dandruff” or being told I have hygiene problems and or explaining that it’s not contagious. Plus I have it on about 60% of my scalp and in my ears it just freaks out people and the stress isn’t something I can handle.

I go to a barber, twice a year. About the equivalent of $15 a cut .

I go to a barber four times a year, it is 13 € a cut. So in 10 years I spend 13x4x10 = 520 € in my hair cuts. It is not so bad and it is better than me trying to cut my hair.

Yeah i say noot noooot then they wap me upside the head with a salmon and then they shave just below my earlobes.

I have been cutting my hair, my dad’s hair, and my mom is here for the past year
My mom used to be a hairdresser salon worker
She coached me on how to cut her hair as it is challenging for me
Me and my dad I just put on a number two and just buzz off all our hair

I buzz my own mainly because I dont like the smalltalk you get with barbers. They usually ask what i do for a living and i dont like to say im on the sick due to schizophrenia.

i been going somewhere but don’t like it due to the talk. been lucky so far. but getting to the point where i may just cut it at home. used to go to supercuts and that was ok. it don’t look so bad if i do it. it’s ■■■■■■■ awkward thing some times. i prefer to do it at home sometimes.

It’s too expensive. I cut it myself. I accidently cut it too short now I’m suffering with the consequences

My barber doubled his price. That’s $40 and just for a buzz cut. I bought clippers for $20. It is not my style to have a shaved head but it always grows back.

My hair is so nice when it’s long I’m really disappointed that I went berserk with the hair cutting scissors. My short hair looks fine but it just doesn’t look as good.

One of my friends daughter is a hairdresser so I go to her. She works from home but always fits me in and charges me like $20 a cut. I always give her a bit extra as a tip for looking after me so it’s still a cheap hair cut.

I always get the compuslion to cut my hair or dye it or something crazy. So i end up shaving it to a zero regularly to fix it. But now im planning on growing it long. And to take care of my curly hair and try to rock it. Its gunna take quite some time.
