Internet crapped out. Unplugged the modem and plugged back in. Still screwed up. I’m on mobile data now. So much for late night Netflix. Damn
Just checked the provider’s website and they are doing maintenance. Dang it all to red heck

We’re in a rented cabin out at the lake. No high speed and no Netflix. The wife has to talk to me for three days.

At the place I rent at we eventually figured out the outdated router was hacked. Our internet speed was at like 1 to 5mbps for months.
I tried to update it but the hardware update bricked it.
Sooo landlord got us a new one and now we’re at 29mbps and our plan is 30mbps so it’s all good now 
I was reading about security vulnerabilities for the routers. There’s literally like 300 million other routers that can be easily hacked for someone to use.
It’s crazy companies don’t patch that stuff properly.
This one was a 2013 D-Link router

Oh dear what a pain in the arse lol. Mine does that on occasion - but we share our wifi passwords in this block, so i just hop onto the neighbours! lol.
