After my last blood test I got a letter to make an appointment. Thought it meant I had diabetes or very high cholesterol. Have neither!
My gp was very pleased at my progress and said I looked better than he has seen. He said it was good that I was trimming down my side meds.
I asked him if it might be possible to go on oral depixol rather than the depot. He said he had no problem but I would have to speak to my consultant. This is no problem.
Cheers @minnii! What do you think about going on oral depixol? I just think I would feel more independent if I didn’t need to see my nurses every two weeks.
I don’t know, it can be good, but if you’re stable with the injection and don’t need to take an extra pill everyday, I don’t see why change.
I wanted to go on oral Invega too… I really don’t know. My moods aren’t all that stable on this dosage like they were on a higher dose, but on a higher dose I get nasty side effects. Might change to abilify, but that will take going on the oral invega for 6 months, then to oral abilify and if I wanted to then to injection abilify. I hate needles
I don’t really mind the shot but just kinda want to see if the pills work just as good. Would be easier. Suppose I can give them a shot - if no luck go back to injections.
