Best anime for people who aren’t fan boys is by far shingeki no kyojin, it isn’t over yet, but it’s a great story and very well drawn

Mushishi is amazing. It’s about a guy who helps people whose lives have been disrupted by creatures called mushi, often solving their personal problems at the same time since those issues are usually how the mushi manifest in their lives in the first place. It’s very calming to me.

I like the weird ones like Vampire Hunter D movies, Tokyo Ghoul (I watched the 2 seasons that were out and thought that’s where it ended, been told otherwise, it broke my heart) ,Witchblade, and Vampire Knight.
