Going to get my eyes checked and pick out new glasses today. It’s been 2 years since I’ve seen the eye doctor. I always have just a slight increase in my prescription. My eyes are pretty bad. Can’t see a damned thing without my glasses.
Last time I went was my first pair with bifocals. My mother always told me to never get bifocals and to instead get 2 different pairs of glasses and switch back and forth. So even though I needed them and the doctor was recommending them I was waving them off. But 2 years ago I simply couldn’t see anymore so I had to get them. I was so happy I did. I love bifocals. My Mother was insane.
But even though I can still see pretty good out of these glasses the frames themselves don’t fit me very well and sort of dig into the side of my head. I’m looking forward to a more comfortable pair. Plus these aren’t all that attractive so a nicer looking pair would be nice.
