Good night @Crystal-Cotton

Couldn’t sleep :frowning:

Anyone awake? 15

Good luck @Crystal-Cotton. Hope it works out.

Edit: Yup, I’m awake. I’m playing Beat Saber off and on, but I’m around.

I’m scared of the feeding tube

They’re not pleasant especially the insertion, but they’re tolerable. Is it a nasogastric tube?

Yes likely its that

They’re gross going in, but okay once in. You pretty much get used to it after the first day.

Hope so… can you sleep with it

Oh yeah. The first couple of nights will be the worst and they’ll likely give you a med to help out. It’s not that it hurts it’s just weirdly foreign.

I couldn’t sleep tonight… what meds is it

Ambien. It’s not a benzo. Don’t know what the generic name is offhand.

Haven’t heard of that

They want to give an AP injection which scares me

Ah, it’ll just reduce anxiety and make you sleepy. Not a bad thing?

I hope it’s Abilify or Zyprexa cuz I’m scared of typical APs

I’ve been on and off them for – I think – 29 years now (holy crap, am I really this old??). Haldol is my current PRN. I have no TD from them. A little dose here and there to help out should be just fine.

What if I get TD and nobody helps me

I’m sure this is not helpful, but you’re more likely to get cancer (and most people don’t get cancer). You’re winding yourself up over stuff that is really improbable. Do you have anything you can do there to take your mind off things?
