Fragile heart. A poem

It was like my heart
Was hung around my neck
Made of the most fragile glass
I worked so hard to protect
And alternately desired
To throw it across the room
Feeling a kind of sick satisfaction
Watching the wall drip
Like red paint splattered
On an abstract canvas

That’s amazing

I have a fragile heart. Idk what to do about it. I’m hoping self care is a good start.

My fragile heart
Like exposed dna
Burns in the oxygen
Needs a case
Made of gold
So that it can be hold.
Without getting stressed and old :innocent:
